This month, we’re excited to take you on a journey through a recent bathroom remodel project, from initial concept to stunning completion.
Design Concept by Doni Gordon
Our talented designer, Doni Gordon, spearheaded the design concept for this bathroom renovation. Drawing inspiration from modern elegance and timeless sophistication, Doni envisioned a space that seamlessly blends functionality with style.
Color Palette and Fixtures
The color palette plays a pivotal role in setting the tone for the entire space. For this project, we opted for a wall of cabinets painted in Montpelier Sage green, adding a touch of natural tranquility to the room. Our choice of fixtures in Champagne Bronze, including sink faucets, cabinet pulls, and shower system, lends an air of understated luxury. To enhance the ambiance, we incorporated Englevale Dimmable Bath Sconces in Aged Brass and completed the look with a Laluz Antique Gold Chandelier, adding a subtle hint of opulence.
Countertops and Tiles
When it comes to countertops, we spared no expense in selecting the finest materials. Our choice of Calacatta Viraldi granite countertops exudes sophistication, with its white base complemented by intricate veins of dark green marble. In the stand-up shower, an accent wall crafted from Sage Glossy ceramic tiles with Mapei Alabaster grout adds visual interest and depth. The surrounding walls feature Andover white rectangle wall tiles, arranged in a horizontal straight stack pattern and paired with Mapei Alabaster grout. For the shower floor, we opted for Caribbean Green Hexagon Polished Marble Mosaic tiles, lending a touch of natural elegance. To tie the space together, we replaced the flooring with Kent Gray II Wood plank ceramic tiles, accented with Mapei Sahara Beige grout. To maximize functionality, we installed a double niche for convenient storage of bath essentials.
Finishing Touches
No bathroom is complete without the perfect mirrors. For this project, we selected Amirie Anti-Fog bathroom LED mirrors, featuring a backlit design and touch switch for adjustable brightness. These mirrors not only provide practical functionality but also serve as stylish focal points, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the space.
